Aqua Tower
Designed by Jeanne Gang, completed in 2009. Aqua Tower’s varying floor slabs offer interactions and sight-lines to neighbors above and below. Borrowing from the characteristics of terrestrial topography, the tower was imagined as a vertical landscape made up of hills, valleys, and pools. At the time, Aqua Tower was the largest project ever awarded to an American firm headed by a woman.
